Carpentry Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Apprentice to join our team at Hardcastle Formwork Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced carpenters in various aspects of residential and commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing layouts and measuring tools to ensure conformance to building codes.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, which may involve working at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
Requirements- 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work accurately and make sound judgments.
- Reliability and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as per the collective agreement. This is a permanent position with 37.5 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
