Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

At Executive Maintenance Services Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning and maintenance services, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites: Regularly inspect our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Services: Identify areas where additional services are required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment, and recommend these to management.
  • Assist Cleaners: Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties as needed.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our cleaning and maintenance services are integrated with other operational activities.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our cleaning and maintenance services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language required
