Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor

Mazy's Maintenance & Cleaning Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance projects.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Establish and maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely payment for services rendered.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning and maintenance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
Work Environment:

Mazy's Maintenance & Cleaning Services operates in a variety of settings, including office buildings, commercial facilities, and hospitals/medical facilities. As a Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel between sites and occasional overtime.
