Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor

Mazy's Maintenance & Cleaning Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Prepare and manage budgets to ensure that cleaning and maintenance costs are controlled and optimized.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that cleaning and maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in cleaning and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
