Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Mazy's Maintenance & Cleaning Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are clean and safe for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning services.
  • Recommend additional services required, such as painting or repair work.
  • Maintain financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 light duty cleaners.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Work Environment:

Mazy's Maintenance & Cleaning Services operates in a variety of settings, including office buildings, commercial facilities, and hospitals/medical facilities or clinics. As a Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, and the work schedule is 35 hours per week.
