About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Head of Enterprise Sales to lead our sales efforts in Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales growth strategy for enterprise sellers in Canada, driving execution and setting ambitious and achievable plans and targets to support profitable revenue growth.
  • Manage sales forecasts accurately, set budgets and goals for the sales team, and analyze and validate sales performance and critical metrics to maximize growth.
  • Represent the Spotify Brand at client/agency summits through public speaking, panel moderation, and keynotes, and build upon established relationships and develop new relationships with key industry executive decision-makers across Canada.
  • Hire, manage, mentor & develop a DOS within the region, and hire, manage & develop the growing Enterprise Sales team including salespeople & support staff.
  • Implement/lead/oversee client events, social engagements, and sponsorships based on local market dynamics and broad business knowledge, and develop standard methodologies and demonstrate efficiencies that can scale from local to global.
  • Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners internally and externally.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of digital advertising / marketing sales experience including 8+ years in sales leadership which also includes 5+ years of larger staff management.
  • Outstanding go-to-market strategy and operational discipline that can lead a team to efficiently and effectively move important revenue initiatives throughout a large organization with high velocity.
  • Highly motivated, organized and entrepreneurial, with strong region-based agency & brand relationships, and great communication, consultative selling, problem solving and negotiating skills.
  • Strategically use data and insights to inform client investment strategy, and effectively position Spotify's ad solutions through creative storytelling.
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and trends around digital, programmatic, audio/video best practices, opportunities, and challenges, and strong understanding and expertise in account planning, strategic planning, and media buying within digital, video & audio environment.
  • Existing network of senior level contacts in media and marketing, and leadership experience with successful management skills and lead by example.
