About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Accident Benefits Claims Representative to join our Claims team at Co-operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and interpret coverage for automobile accident benefit claims.
  • Negotiate and settle claims in a fair and timely manner.
  • Contribute to a client service culture by embedding client engagement philosophies into daily work.
  • Provide quality client service in accordance with claims service standards.
  • Actively participate in the development, approval, implementation, and monitoring of case management plans for clients.
  • Handle files in defense litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Requirements:

  • One (1) year insurance experience or two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Working towards Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses.
  • Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft Office software, internet, email systems.
  • Provincial adjuster license(s) may be required.
  • University/College Degree.
