Sales Development Representative

Job Summary
Fastenal is seeking an experienced Sales Development Specialist to drive sales growth within an assigned Book of Business. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the sales process, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales within an assigned Book of Business
- Build and present Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to customers
- Provide reporting to customers
- Communicate with Branches to serve customer needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Safety, Metalworking, or related field of study
- At least 2 years of Fastenal work experience or equivalent industry experience in sales, marketing, education, or administration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
- Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
- Strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
- Able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
