About the Opportunity
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing frontline customer communications and service for the department. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Selling recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
- Serving as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
- Explaining the nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
- Advising customers on how to look after their vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
- Scheduling appointments and contacting customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
- Accurately preparing repair orders and invoices
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background and proven experience in sales and customer handling, including:
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
- Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency working with ERP systems (e.g. CDK/Reynolds)
- Proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
- Ability to sell vehicle maintenance
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- Strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- Strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- A desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
