Parts Advisor

As a key member of the Zanchin Automotive Group team, this Parts Advisor role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support for vehicle parts and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and logistics, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for retail customers and service operations, providing expert advice and guidance on vehicle parts and accessories.
- Recommend and sell parts and accessories, either by telephone or at the retail parts department, to meet customer needs and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with external customers, promoting retail and wholesale sales through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Determine availability of parts and accessories, placing special orders as required to meet customer needs.
- Provide price quotes and other related parts information to customers, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Prepare parts orders for shipment, delivery, or collection, ensuring efficient and effective logistics.
- Participate in parts inventory counting and stocking, maintaining accurate records and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and proven experience in customer service, sales, and logistics, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment. Key skills and qualifications include:
- Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in parts sales, logistics, and warehousing.
- Proven track record of successful customer service and handling.
- Proficiency working with ERP systems (i.e. CDK/Reynolds).
- Ability to lift/move objects (50 pounds or less).
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written).
- Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic.
- Ability to maintain professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution.
- Desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Proven commitment to quality of work.
