Service Advisor

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Newmarket, part of Zanchin Automotive Group. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing frontline customer communications and service for our department.
Key Responsibilities- Sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
- Serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
- Explain the nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
- Advise customers on how to look after their vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
- Schedule appointments and contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
- Accurately prepare repair orders and invoices
- 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
- Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
- Proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
- Ability to sell vehicle maintenance
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- Strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- Strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- A desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- A proven commitment to quality of work
