Cold Foods Chef Job Description
Savoia is seeking a skilled Cold Foods Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of cold foods, including salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook cold foods, including salads, sandwiches, and desserts
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
- Create new recipes
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Cook Trade Certification
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Cook Red Seal Certificate
- Emergency First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
