Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and food quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Develop and implement effective team management strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, and sales
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a hot kitchen environment.
