Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc O/A A & W Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Inventory Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Establish work schedules
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant environment
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
