Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at RED CHILLI RESTAURANT INC. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers, to ensure that our restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our food service staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Manage Food and Beverage Operations: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Control Costs and Inventory: Manage our food and beverage inventory, and control costs to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records and reports of our food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player
