Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
