The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our Dealer Training Organization (DTO), you will play a critical role in supporting our customers in implementing and utilizing our Dealer Management Software (DMS) in the Parts module.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our PBS software and its applications in the Parts module.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing customers, ensuring they are proficient in using our software.
  • Provide exceptional support to customers through virtual training, online, and on-the-phone assistance, as well as on-site training at customer locations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer needs, ensuring seamless software implementation and adoption.
  • Stay up-to-date with software updates, new features, and best practices, and share knowledge with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored support to meet their expectations.
  • Work closely with the DTO team to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing education and cross-training programs to enhance skills and stay current with industry developments.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials, documentation, and knowledge base articles to support customer success.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the parts area of a dealership.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month.
