Job Summary

Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription orders, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter prescription orders into the pharmacy management system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Verify prescription details, patient information, and insurance coverage to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff members regarding prescription orders and patient information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescription orders and patient information.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required to support pharmacy operations.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field.
  • Two or more years of related pharmacy experience, preferably in a specialty pharmacy setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Kroll and other pharmacy management systems.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and basic understanding of prescription medications.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
