Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring timely processing of prescription orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and verify prescription orders from patients, healthcare providers, and clinics
  • Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy management system
  • Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and prescription details for completeness and accuracy
  • Communicate with pharmacists, technicians, and other staff members regarding prescription orders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescription orders and patient information
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent
  • Two or more years of related pharmacy experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Kroll and knowledge of pharmaceutical technology
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and maintain high professional standards
