About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at SQ.1 Pharmacy Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of medications and prescription records, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that expired or recalled products are removed promptly.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims from third-party insurers, health insurance, and workers' compensation, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order and maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring that the pharmacy is well-stocked and that all necessary materials are available.
  • Communication: Interpret physician's specifications, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
