About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at SQ.1 Pharmacy Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including medications and prescription records, to ensure efficient and effective supply chain management.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims for health insurance and workers' compensation, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement.
  • Supply Management: Order and maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring that the pharmacy is well-stocked and equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Communication: Interpret physician's specifications and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
