Job Summary

At Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant - Inventory Management, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the timely processing of prescription orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and enter prescription orders into our pharmacy management system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify prescription details, patient information, and insurance coverage to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff members regarding prescription orders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescription orders and patient information.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving medications and supplies.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in inventory management or order entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with pharmacy management systems and inventory control software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
