Commercial Insurance Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Morison Insurance Brokers Inc. in Hamilton, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and service commercial accounts to ensure excellent customer service and retention.
  • Review renewals with clients, providing coverage recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Assist clients with their day-to-day inquiries and provide timely responses.
  • Identify opportunities to write new business through referrals and marketing existing accounts to insurance companies.
  • Develop insurance market knowledge to understand where a risk will fit and provide accurate coverage recommendations.
  • Understand wordings and coverages to compare insurance policies and quotes effectively.
Requirements:
  • A Registered Insurance Broker License (RIBO) is required.
  • Knowledge in Commercial Property & Casualty, Commercial Auto, and Farm Insurance is essential.
  • Completed, enrolled, or interested in the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses would be an asset.
  • College Insurance Program Diploma or an undergraduate degree is an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills to build relationships and maintain long-term growth and retention.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
  • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
