We are currently in search of a Commercial Lines Account Manager to enhance our team of insurance experts. This position requires on-site presence during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and servicing commercial insurance accounts
- Engaging with clients to review policy renewals and provide coverage advice
- Addressing day-to-day inquiries from clients
- Generating new business opportunities through referrals
- Marketing existing accounts to various insurance providers
- Building knowledge of the insurance market to effectively assess risk placements
- Comparing insurance policies and quotes by understanding different wordings and coverages
Essential Skills for Success
- Possession of a Registered Insurance Broker License (RIBO)
- Expertise in Commercial Property & Casualty, Commercial Auto, and Farm Insurance
- Completion or enrollment in Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses is advantageous
- A diploma from a College Insurance Program or a relevant undergraduate degree is beneficial
- Strong customer service capabilities to foster relationships and ensure long-term client retention
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
- A proactive attitude coupled with a solid work ethic
