Job Summary

The Residence Facility Coordinator is a key role within the University of Waterloo's Residences, responsible for managing facility and security-related issues. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide initial assessment and response to facility and security issues within UW Residences
  • Coordinate and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely and efficient resolution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve long-term solutions
  • Manage the department's work order system, HoME, and track workflow data
  • Plan and coordinate cyclical tasks, such as maintenance projects and preventative measures
  • Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders, including students and staff

Requirements

  • College diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Valid class G driver's license with a good driving record
  • Minimum 1 year experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and HoME work order system
