Residence Facility Coordinator

Job Summary
The Residence Facility Coordinator is a key role within the University of Waterloo's Residences, responsible for managing facility and security-related issues. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial assessment and response to facility and security issues within UW Residences
- Coordinate and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely and efficient resolution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve long-term solutions
- Manage the department's work order system, HoME, and track workflow data
- Plan and coordinate cyclical tasks, such as maintenance projects and preventative measures
- Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders, including students and staff
Requirements
- College diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Valid class G driver's license with a good driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in facilities management or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and HoME work order system
