Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Terraceview Lodge.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work within a client and family-centered care model, applying the Nursing Process to provide high-quality patient care. They will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement care plans, and may provide direction to other staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
