About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at A & J SONS 6 HOLDINGS INC. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Food Safety Certificate
    • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Special Requirements
    • Criminal record check
    • Own transportation
    • Own vehicle
