About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards of our restaurant.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations.
Work Environment

As a Shift Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet the demands of our customers and maintain the high standards of our restaurant. You will be required to stand for extended periods, ensuring that you are physically fit and able to perform the demands of the role.

Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan, health care plan, paramedical services coverage, and vision care benefits.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
