Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Growth Strategy to lead our growth strategy and drive business expansion. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales, marketing plans, and pricing strategies to meet revenue and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development initiatives and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Oversee budgets for business development department and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to measure effectiveness of initiatives and customer interactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong market presence and enhance brand recognition through marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study.
  • Postgraduate or Professional designation is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a senior leadership role within the Customs Brokerage and/or Logistics industry or service industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of sales, service, and marketing principles inclusive of client onboarding, client retention, and client loyalty initiatives.

Benefits

Buckland offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package and matching retirement plan. Other Information

This position requires a flexible schedule and approximately 50% travel primarily to CA, US, and MX. Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
