Night Shift Opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with SSOP and MWI guidelines for the department and equipment.
  • Operate a tube/pipe mill to produce high-quality end products as specified in the Work Order and in accordance with the PCP and Mill Operators Manual.
  • Collaborate with the Mill Leadhand, coworkers, and Engineering to achieve production goals in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through proper housekeeping habits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Mill Supervisor.

Authorities:

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of tasks.
  • Report any safety, quality, or manufacturing issues to the departmental Leadhand for resolution.

Role Requirements:

  • Self-motivated to accomplish job assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and determination to achieve production expectations.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge to operate equipment, fill customer orders, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Work harmoniously with other employees through good communication and work skills.
  • Proficient in reading and accurately determining work order requests, tolerance limits, and special manufacturing requests.
  • Demonstrate accuracy, precision, and good concentration while on the job.
  • Make basic decisions and judgment calls related to the work order.
  • Good coordination and alertness in operating machines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage stress.
  • Capable of training other operators.
  • Flexible to work shifts as required.
  • Maintain a safe and accessible work center.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates will be required to pass a Mechanical Aptitude test.
