We are looking for a motivated and positive individual who sees themself working as a team in our warehouse. This person is mainly responsible for packaging spices in our large bulk area and sometimes other tasks in order to help the team. We are excited to hire an enthusiastic, team-player, willing to learn about Horton Spice Mills, and ready to add positivity to our workplace.

It is imperative for this person to have precise attention to detail, excellent verbal and written English communication skills, and be able to heavy lift. This is not a remote position.

**Work Setting**
- Spice factory/ food manufacturing/ grinding, blending, packaging, spices and seasonings

**Responsibilities**:

- Following company guidelines in regards to safety, proper storage, and other GFSI standards that are part of our food safety program
- Packaging ingredients into large bulk boxes and arranging on skids (up to and mainly 25kg boxes)
- Completing paperwork required for orders (hand-written in English)
- Helping with a variety of warehouse tasks when able/necessary
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Greeting customers and third-party shipping staff in a friendly manner
- Operating pedestrian low lifter truck, skid wrapper, pump carts when necessary
- Operating Metal Detector equipment when required

**It is not recommended for Women in Canada to lift over 23kg, therefore this job position is most suitable for Men, although both men and women may apply. This job position's requirement is to lift 25kg boxes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
