Precision Jewelry Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for assembling, sizing, repairing, and finishing fine jewelry to predetermined quality and production standards using cutting, milling, grinding, welding or open flame soldering, polishing and electroplating equipment in a cell environment.

This is a Craftsmanship position that will impact multiple merchandise streams to include, but not limited to, new assembly, refurbish, customer warranty, and Ecommerce sales, across all Signet banners and often directly to the end customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, size, repair, and finish fine jewelry to predetermined quality and production standards.
  • Operate cutting, milling, grinding, welding or open flame soldering, polishing and electroplating equipment in a cell environment.
  • Impact multiple merchandise streams, including new assembly, refurbish, customer warranty, and Ecommerce sales.
  • Work across all Signet banners and often directly with the end customer.

Requirements:

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to complete a skill assessment test.
  • Experience polishing, cleaning or electroplating jewelry.
  • 2+ years' experience in jewelry repair or Trade School.
  • Gemology Certification preferred.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Knowledge of precision tools, machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills & detail orientation.
  • Customer service minded individuals with a high standard for quality work.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Full-time consists of a 40-hour Monday – Friday work week with some overtime throughout the year.
