R.V. Anderson Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in Halifax. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business and operational growth in the Atlantic regions.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage projects, develop business growth strategies, and promote company-wide initiatives. You will work closely with our Vice-President, Halifax, to achieve business objectives and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement business growth strategies for the Halifax office and Atlantic regions.
  2. Promote company-wide initiatives and projects across Eastern Canada.
  3. Manage administrative duties, including financial and staff management, staff development, and mentoring.
  4. Lead marketing and proposal efforts.
  5. Prepare and review reports.
  6. Conduct conceptual design and quality assurance reviews for various projects.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  2. Licensed P. Eng. with 15+ years of progressive experience in municipal engineering.
  3. Project management (PMP) designation is an asset.
  4. Strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff.
  5. Experience in meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development, and other relevant skills.
