Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Halifax Office Opportunity

R.V. Anderson Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join their Halifax office. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage municipal engineering projects, develop business and operational growth, and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business and operational growth strategies in Halifax, New Brunswick, and the Atlantic regions.
  • Lead and manage municipal engineering projects, including conceptual design, quality assurance reviews, and project engineering and technical expertise.
  • Manage client relationships, develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and all levels of staff in a collaborative team environment.
  • Prepare and coordinate approvals, tender documents, cost estimating, contract documents, reports, and other technical documents.
  • Prepare and edit AutoCAD and Civil 3D design drawings as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Licensed P. Eng. with 15 plus years progressive experience in municipal engineering with at least 10 years working in a consultancy.
  • Project management (PMP) designation is an asset.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and all levels of staff in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development, and other skills appropriate to consulting.
