About the Role:

Arterra Wines Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Accounts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability in the BC market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including BC Liquor Stores and BCLDB, to drive sales and profitability growth.
  • Build and analyze sales strategies for all channels, working closely with internal partners to ensure strategic alignment and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Consult cross-functionally to ensure supplier agreement obligations are met, including forecasting, operations, and supply chain management.
  • Manage profitability through budgeting, discounts, and channel budgeting.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop direct reports, including Key Account Managers, Supervisors, and Coordinators.
  • Develop a collaborative working relationship with the Senior Manager, Sales and Execution to formulate and roll out Arterra's BC portfolio and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage alcohol industry or CPG.
  • Specific experience with BCL and BCLDB, as well as a deep understanding of the BC beverage alcohol industry and regulation nuances.
  • Proven strategic thinking and long-term planning aptitude and track record.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external parties, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
  • Passionate and highly motivated individual with a strong leadership background.
