Job Title: Senior Strategic Accounts Manager

Arterra Wines Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Accounts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability in the BC market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability in the BC market.
  • Manage relationships with key customers, including BC Liquor Stores and BCLDB, to ensure sales and profitability targets are met.
  • Build and analyze sales strategies for all channels, working closely with customers and internal partners to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Consult cross-functionally to ensure supplier agreement obligations are met, including forecasting required products, working with operations and supply chain to ensure fulfillment, and submitting and processing internal KPIs.
  • Manage profitability through monitoring budgets, discounts, and channel budgets.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop direct reports, including Key Account Managers, Supervisors, and Coordinators.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage alcohol industry or CPG.
  • Specific experience with both BCL and BCLDB and a deep understanding of BC beverage alcohol industry and regulation nuances.
  • Proven strategic thinking and long-term planning aptitude and track record.
  • High level of computer literacy and ability to learn complex internal software programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external parties both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
  • Passionate and highly motivated.
  • Strong leadership background/experience.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Budgeted Range: $/annual. The budgeted range will align with qualifications, including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.
