Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our team at Tulsa Winch Group. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees in Canada and the US, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain payroll-specific records, including wage/salary changes, pension, insurance, and mandatory deductions.
  • Prepare ROEs and year-end T4 and T4A slips.
  • Manage time and attendance reports and distribute them to supervisors and managers as needed.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to process new hires, terminations, ROEs, pay rate changes, and incentive pay.
  • Update employee records in systems such as payroll, HRIS, and ERP, including new hire information, benefit elections, and terminations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employees' personal information in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Administer company benefit programs.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of successful experience in payroll and benefit administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Ceridian Powerpay and Dayforce workforce management software, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and other related programs.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO procedures and quality control principles.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and tools.
Physical Requirements:

This role requires standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, lifting, carrying, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing. You must be able to move around obstructions and may need to lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
