At VERB Interactive, we're seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Senior Marketing Strategist. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our team to drive business growth through innovative marketing strategies.

As a Senior Marketing Strategist, you'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans that align with our clients' goals. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of large-scale website builds from inception to launch, fostering collaboration across all departments.
  • Serving as primary point of contact for clients at the executive level, representing the agency in all interactions.
  • Effective management of client expectations, combining their needs with our organization's capabilities to determine optimal marketing solutions.
  • Strategic planning and daily execution of project tasks, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations while planning, forecasting, and reporting on projects.
  • Leadership in managing project outcomes against business objectives and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Tactical management of budgets and resources, adhering to predetermined budgets and assessing departmental requirements for staffing adjustments.
  • Inspirational leadership and coaching of project teams, motivating them to achieve excellence.
  • Taking ownership of organic growth for a portfolio of accounts, delivering exceptional service and promoting cutting-edge solutions.
  • Clear direction to internal teams, ensuring alignment on projects with defined action items and timelines.
  • Identification of research insights and strategic models to advance business interests, presenting trends, growth opportunities, and innovative ideas proactively.
  • Bold and confident communication, demonstrating excellent presentation skills.
  • Regular updates to senior management on project progress, flagging potential issues early and offering strategic solutions.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication, encouraging team members to share concerns or challenges.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing/advertising or Account Management roles.
  • Post-secondary education focused on advertising, marketing, communications, or business.
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in fast-paced business environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, web development technologies, and design lifecycles.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, social, and traditional media.
  • Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects with budget, schedule, and resource constraints.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and meticulous approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and present creative ideas and solutions to both clients and internal management.
  • Previous experience managing projects valued at $200k or more.

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience and performance.
