Senior Office Coordinator

The Fort McKay First Nation is seeking an experienced Senior Office Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the Corporate Services and Governance Division, this role will provide administrative support to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of the CEO, Chief and/or Council.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional administrative support, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and correspondence management.
- Manage various office duties, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with Directors and departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Utilize productivity applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email clients, and presentation software, to produce high-quality documents and reports.
- Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field.
- Five years of direct work experience in an executive assistant capacity, with a proven track record of providing exceptional administrative support.
- Hands-on experience with productivity applications and previous experience handling confidential information.
- Clean Criminal Record Check and valid Class Five driver's license required.
The Fort McKay First Nation is composed of over 1,500 members, including those of Cree and Dene heritage, with approximately 700 residing in the hamlet of Fort McKay. Located approximately 65 km north of Fort McMurray, Fort McKay offers a unique blend of remote northern life and proximity to a large city with all the amenities you need.
