National Claims Administration Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented National Claims Administration Assistant to join our team at Definity. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up incoming claims, managing digital documents, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and manage incoming claims, including entering information into the claims system and distributing to the appropriate claims representative.
- Manage digital documents, including preparing, scanning, validating, and processing claims documents, as well as performing necessary checks and corrections.
- Process and reconcile payments within the level of authority.
- Support customer inquiries on an ad-hoc basis.
- Work a hybrid schedule with 2 days in-office per week, averaging 8 days per month.
- Provide data tracking support and manage spreadsheets.
- Create letter packages, mail processing, and distribution.
- Photocopy and file documents, managing closed filing and archiving.
- Maintain shared email boxes within established guidelines and service standards.
- Maintain workload within established guidelines and service standards.
- Perform other general duties as assigned.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- You have a strong understanding of claims administration and processing, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
- You are proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to navigate multiple screens quickly and efficiently.
- You have a high school diploma, with a preference for candidates with post-secondary education.
- You have customer service experience, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service to customers.
- You are well-organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent time management skills.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to anticipate the needs of your team.

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location and other factors. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans, paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
