Claims Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to join our team at CAA Club Group. As a Claims Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the claims intake process, verifying and entering claim details, and corresponding with adjusters and vendors to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the claims intake process, including verifying and entering claim details into our claims operating system
- Correspond with adjusters, vendors, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution
- Monitor the claims FNOL inbox for new claims notices and track new claims using provided tracking resources
- Document claim data accurately to support data reporting requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Post-secondary education required
- CIP/FCIP Insurance Institute of Ontario- Completed or In Progress
- Minimum 1 year of claims intake and customer service and administrative experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to support customers and broker partners
- Experience navigating and entering data across claims operating systems
- Familiarity with phone queue and call handling procedures
- Multi-tasking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attentive to detail and catches errors in numbers, spelling, and punctuation
- Uses personal judgement and critical thinking to make decisions and offer solutions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
