About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at PEC Enterprises Ltd. as a key member of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring optimal store performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff members to meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments by cheque, manage inventory, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Merchandising: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and ensure that our stores are well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, respond to customer requests, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people
