We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at The TJX Companies, Inc. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
- Merchandise Management: Manage the visual merchandising and presentation of the store, including creating displays and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Financial Management: Manage the store's budget, including controlling expenses and reducing shrink and damage.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in retail, including operations, customer service, merchandising, and people management.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to act as a collaborative partner and positively influence management and staff.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and prioritize activities and resources in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management, and coaching.
