Job Title: Chief Administrative Officer

The Municipality of Ethelbert is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Administrative Officer to lead our Administration Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the municipality, ensuring that our goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Administration Department
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Manage budgets and resources to achieve departmental goals
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high levels of performance and productivity
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including council members, community groups, and external agencies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a municipal office setting or similar type office setting
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under deadlines
