Senior Biological Research Scientist

The Senior Biological Research Scientist role at SickKids is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join our team of dedicated experts in the field of biological sciences.
As a Senior Biological Research Scientist, you will play a key role in advancing our understanding of human, animal, and plant tissues and cells. You will conduct molecular or biochemical studies and experiments in genetic expression, gene manipulation, and recombinant DNA technology to develop new or alternative methods of producing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals
- Provide advice to senior managers and officials
- Conduct biostatistical data analysis using computer modeling techniques
- Produce reports
- Develop and implement new research projects
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, biochemistry, genetics)
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
