Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Research Scientist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our research team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of various diseases and developing innovative treatments.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of researchers in designing and conducting experiments to investigate the underlying mechanisms of complex diseases.
  • Develop and implement novel research methodologies to improve our understanding of disease biology and progression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to develop new therapeutic strategies and interventions.
  • Analyze data and interpret results to inform research design and decision-making.
  • Present research findings at conferences and publish papers in top-tier scientific journals.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., neuroscience, molecular biology) with a strong background in experimental research.
  • A minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral experience in a research laboratory, with a proven track record of publishing high-impact research.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior researchers and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation, as well as a strong understanding of statistical principles.
