Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Specialist to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective HSEQ strategies and programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess HSEQ performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to develop and implement HSEQ training programs, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring that they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in HSEQ leadership or a related field.
- Associate degree or college diploma in a safety-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Professional HSEQ certification, such as ASP, CSP, CRSP, or OHST.
- Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.
Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Travel to various job sites, including remote locations, as required.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in other challenging environments as required.
