HSEQ Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Specialist to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective HSEQ strategies and programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess HSEQ performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to develop and implement HSEQ training programs, ensuring that all employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring that they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HSEQ matters, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and information to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- 2+ years of experience in HSEQ leadership or a related field.
- Associate degree or college diploma in a safety-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
