HSEQ Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Specialist to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and best practices.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to develop and implement HSE plans and strategies.
- 2+ years of experience in HSE leadership or a related field.
- Associate degree or higher in a safety-related field or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including construction sites, offices, and other locations as needed. The position requires the ability to walk at least one mile in rugged terrain and lift 35 pounds unassisted.
