Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Specialist to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor HSE performance and provide guidance to employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to identify and address HSE issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in HSE leadership or a related field.
  • Associate degree or higher in a safety-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Professional HSE certification (e.g., ASP, CSP, CRSP, or OHST) or working towards certification.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds and walk at least one mile in rugged terrain.
